Every Life Holds a Collage

AuraCanvas is an idea for a kind of personal home online: a life collage, not a résumé and not a feed. This page is one example of what it could look like.

A life is more than a résumé

A career tells you what someone did for money. It rarely says anything about who they love, what they believe, what they collect on rainy afternoons, or the ordinary joy of a good soup on a cold day. AuraCanvas is built on the idea that a person's page should be able to hold all of it: projects and memories, beliefs and hobbies, work and rest, art and curiosity. All of it can sit side by side, without ranking one above the other.

Every piece here belongs to its owner. They decide what's public, what's shared only with people who have a link, what's archived quietly, and what's removed entirely. Nothing is performed for an algorithm, and nothing is measured in followers.

On a real AuraCanvas page, these three methods are chosen by the page's owner through Section 9 of the questionnaire below ("Present and Future"), and can be updated any time as preferences change. Nothing here defaults to any particular social media platform, and email is only one option among many. Contact details are never printed directly into the page's code as plain text or a plain link (the "Show contact detail" button above demonstrates the pattern); this keeps ordinary scraping bots from harvesting them while still working for a real visitor.

The Living Archive

People change. AuraCanvas is meant to hold past chapters gently, not erase them or pin them forever to the top of the page.

Learn how archiving works

A future AuraCanvas owner could hide a chapter from the main page while keeping it somewhere safe, restore something they archived last year, unlist a page so it's visible only by direct link, protect a page with a password, or delete something for good. None of that requires explaining yourself to anyone.

Each archived chapter carries its own visibility: private (kept, but never shown to visitors), public — thumbnail only (title and dates visible, nothing to click open), or public — expandable (click the thumbnail to reveal the full note). The six tiles below demonstrate all three.

About This Demonstration

This page is a working example of AuraCanvas, a concept for a personal life-collage site. It's built to show what the platform could let anyone create for themselves. A dignified home online, not a follower-driven feed. If AuraCanvas becomes real, a page like this one would be a starting template, not a final destination.

AuraCanvas Questionnaire

A note on spam and scraping. What you type here is never displayed by this questionnaire; it's sent privately for review. When contact details are later added to your real page, they'll be rendered so plain scraping bots can't read them directly (never printed as bare text or a bare link), the same protection used in the "Connect With Me" example further up this page.
